The combination of two topologies \(\tau _1\) and \(\tau _2\) into a single sDAG. The sDAG (right) contains the union of the nodes and edges of the individual sDAGs from each of the topologies. It also contains additional topologies, such as the topology containing both \(\{\{0\},\{1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6\}\}\) and \(\{\{4, 6\},\{5\}\}\), that are not present in the original set of two topologies
